Description: Do not forget to mark your calendars for the 20th Annual Washington Christmas Candlelight Tour of homes, Saturday December 4 and Sunday December 5 from 4:30 to 8pm. Tickets are available in advance from the Chamber, Dodici Shop, Jaz It Up and Wolf Floral. Tickets are $7 in advance and $8 at the door. Homes on the tour this year include: Pam and Tim Coffey, Dana Conklin, Vicki and Phil Ealy, Rachel Nicola and Dave Stoufer. If you have any questions, feel free to call the chamber office at 653-3272.

Mervin Leon Baxter

Funeral services for 70 year old Mervin Leon Baxter of rural Richland will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday (11/27) at Pleasant Plain Friends Church in Pleasant Plain. Burial will be in Brooks Cemetery near Hedrick, IA. Visitation will open at 4 p.m. Friday afternoon at Gould Funeral Home in Richland with the family present 5:30 to 7 p.m. A general memorial has been established and may be left at the church or mailed to the family at 1070 Osage Avenue, Richland, IA 52585.

Lola M. Reed

Funeral services for 93 year old Lola M. Reed of Washington will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon on Friday at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home with family visitation from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, followed by a prayer service at 6:00 at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to Hospice of Washington County and St. James Parish.
