The Lone Tree Lion boys were opening their season hosting Olin. The Lions had a tough first half with 17 turnovers and were down by nine at the break, but came out better in the second half. The Lions ended up with the win 58-47. Bryan Forbes had 18 on the night, Logan Forbes scored ten and brought down ten rebounds. Nathan Volk finished with 11 points. Lone Tree is now 1-0 on the season.

The Lone Tree girls were on the road facing Lisbon. Lone Tree won 67-62. They were led by Courtney Burr with 28 points, Maddie Flemr had 13 and Ella Feldman had 9. The Lions are now 1-1 on the season.

Both teams now have a big rivalry game tonight as they host Highland for a boy-girl doubleheader.
