Winter is coming and for many that means its time to start weatherizing your home. Nancy Adrian with the Washington County Extension says they suggest people do a detailed inspection of their homes to check for air leaks. She says if you can hear whistling through the windows you should think about a covering or see if you just need more caulking. Adrian also says you should make sure your furnace is working at peak efficiency before winter weather hits.
