Recently the Washington County Riverboat Foundation announced its Mini Grant Award recipients, with more than $27,000 going to organizations in the city of Washington. Recipients include Lending Hands, Main Street Washington, Paws and More and the Washington YMCA, Chamber, Community Chest, Tree Beautification Committee, Young Professionals Group and Concert Association. More than $196,000 was given to 193 Washington County Projects during the first ever Mini Grant competition.
