The Washington County Riverboat foundation recently announced its Mini Grant Awards and the Keota Community School District in Keota received $7,224. These grants are designed to reach applicants who have a small project they would like to complete. Keota Community Schools received money for a concession stand upgrade, handrails for the bleachers, and for improving music education. The Keota Volunteer Fire department also received $2,000 for a Thermal Imaging Camera update.
