Iowa Archeology will be the topic of interest for the new Historical Society Free Program, “What’s Old is New Again: Recent Discoveries. Bryan Kendall of the Office of the State Archaeologist at the University of Iowa will be the speaker at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, at the Louisa County Heritage Center in Wapello. The Program will take a look at Archaeology in Iowa that stretches back more than 100 years with early explorations along the Mississippi River in eastern Iowa. Kendall will sharing some of the latest discoveries.
