The Wellman City Council met Tuesday and their main agenda item was the awarding of the contract for the City Wide Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Project.  City Administrator Dave Ross Says they opened bids last week on the project.  The Lowest Bid they received was from Woodruff Construction from Fort Dodge for $1,799,200, Ross says the council awarded the project to them for that amount.  He says construction is estimated to start with in the next month and should be complete by next summer.
