Washington County Engineer David Patterson Discusses Date Options For The Secondary Roads Hearing.

The Washington County Board of Supervisors has agreed to a request by County Engineer David Patterson to hold a public hearing on the proposed Secondary Roads Comprehensive Improvements Plan. An informational presentation by County Engineer Patterson is scheduled to begin at 7 pm on Tuesday, October 19^th at the ISU Extension Building in the Washington County Fairgrounds.  The presentation will be followed by time allotted for questions and public input.  At 8 pm, the Washington County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing and vote on a resolution to split the county’s $8 million dollar share of the project over 10 years, with rural residents paying 78% and city residents paying 13% of costs.
