Washington Concert Association Selling Season Tickets

Posted By News On @ 6:24 am In Today's Local News | Comments Disabled

The first performance of the Washington Concert Association’s new season is this Saturday at the Washington Community Theater. Muscatine area group the Mad Creek Mudcats will perform a mix of ragtime, traditional jazz, and Dixieland music as well as popular hits from the early 20th century Saturday night at 7:30.  Concert Association President Louise Frakes says the goal for the new season was to have something “everyone could afford”.  Each of the six performances that run through next spring cost $15, but a special season pass can be purchased for only $30.  The pass also gives concert goers the ability to attend concerts in Fairfield, Ottumwa, Keokuk and Centerville through the spring.  Season tickets can be purchased at the first and second concert of the season.
