Title: 37th Anniversary of the Marion Ave. Baptist Church
Description: The Marion Avenue Baptist Church of Washington will celebrate its 37th anniversary next week with activities Sunday Sept. 19- Tuesday September 21st. Events on the 19th will feature a carnival with rides, games, food and prizes for all children at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Monday and Tuesday will feature a Preaching Jubilee, Monday at 7pm and Tuesday at 10am and 7pm. A meal will be provided Tuesday at noon. All activities are free.

Title: Parkview Manor Chaplaincy Fund Raiser
Description: Parkview Manor of Wellman will be hosting the annual Chaplaincy Fund Raise at Asbury United Methodist Church in Wellman, IA on September 17, 2010. There will be a pork burger supper which will be $6.00 for adults and $3.50 for children. The meal will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Also featured will be a silent auction, cash and carry table, as well as a hand crafted quilt to be sold at 6 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Chaplaincy fund at Parkview Manor, providing for the spiritual needs of Parkview for over thirty years. Title: Kalona Historical Village Talent Fest
Description: The Kalona Historical Village will hold a talent contest on the grounds of the Fall Festival on
Saturday September 25th beginning at 1:30 p.m. All kinds of talent are welcome, placings will be decided by a panel of judges. Categories will be 12 & under, 13-19, and 20-adult, Kalona Cash will be awarded to the first 3 placings. Entry forms may be downloaded from www.kalonaiowa.org/kalonafallfestival, or contact Nancy at 319-656-2519 or via e-mail kalonatours@kctc.net to get a form mailed to you. All entries must be submitted by Friday September 17th.
