A Minnesota man has been taken to the hospital after a car accident south of Mount Pleasant on Thursday morning. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office reports that Patrick Cota of Elk River Minnesota was driving a Fleetwood camper north bound on Hwy 218 in the outside lane when it veered into the inside lane striking a Northbound 2007 Freightliner driven by Eric Cain of Packwood, Iowa. Both vehicles crossed the median and came to rest on the southbound side of Hwy 218.
