The Kalona City Council met Tuesday of this week instead of Monday because of the Labor Day Holiday.  City Clerk Karen Kristner says they approved some payments for the Downtown Revitalization Project.  They also approved a contract for the A Ave Bridge Project, approved a resolution asking for grants from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation, approved a resolution closing streets during the Fall Festival and approved a cemetery deed.
