For the first time this year the Washington County Extension office will be running an environmental regulations and program assistance update for hog farmers via web cast.  Tom Miller, ISU Extension Area Swine specialist says they decided to update the way they send out their information to make it easier on the farmers. 

The program will run from 1pm to 4:30pm and will be held live at the Scheman Building on the ISU web cast but for local producers at the Washington County Extension office  and later will be available online.

They will be discussing how new regulations and nuisance cases are affecting Iowa Pork Producers and give an update of environmental research programs offered through Iowa State  University.
