Washington Public Library Offers Free Folk Music Concert

The Washington Public Library Foundation is inviting area residents to attend a free music concert. Folksinger Judy Cook will perform period ballads titled “The Songs of Mark Twain’s America” Friday evening at 7 pm.  Cook’s website reports she settled in Maryland after attending Oberlin College and has performed across the United States and Europe, releasing four full length CDs.  For more artist information, visit judycook.net.
