Title: Richland United Methodist Church Fall Turkey Supper
Description: The Richland United Methodist Church Fall Turkey Supper is Wednesday October 13th from 5 to 7pm in the Fellowship hall. Menu includes Roast Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and more. Carry-outs may be ordered by calling the office at 319-456-2251 for pick up between 4:30 and 5pm. Delivery will be provided for shut-ins. A free will donation will be accepted.

Title: Youth Plus After Prom Breakfast
Description: The Youth Plus After Prom Breakfast will be Sunday Oct. 10th from 8:30am to noon at the Lagos Acres in Keota. On the menu will be pancakes, eggs, muffins and sausage. Cost is a free will donation and all proceeds help make the “After Prom Party” possible.

Title: New Washington County Historical Series
Description: A New Historical Tour Series will kick off October 23. The first event in the new Kathy Fisher Tour Series of the Washington County Historical Society will feature the Wayne County “Prairie Trails” Museum in Corydon and several other historic sites. Iowa Historian Mike Zahs will narrate points of interest during the day-long motor coach trip, including a stop at the famous Dutchman’s Store in Cantril. The public is welcome. Cost of $70 each for members of the Historical Society and $75 for non-members includes all admissions and the noon meal. Tour bus leaves the Washington Hy-Vee parking lot at 7:30 am on October 23 and returns at 6:30 pm. To make reservations, call Shirley Pfeifer at 319-653-5283 no later than October 10.
