Washington County Youth continue to compete this week at the Iowa State Fair, and Riverside’s Brian Becker reports good results. Spencer and Paige Becker earned seven champion or reserves in horticulture earlier this week, and in sheep were awarded first place in Commercial Ewes.  Tuesday night was the showmanship competition.  Macey Marek was the reserve intermediate showman, and Keota’s Kolton Greiner won 4-H Commercial Gilt Reserve Champion.  Stay tuned to KCII for more updates from Washington County residents at this week’s Iowa State Fair.
