The city of Sigourney is hosting an “America’s Night out Against Crime” event tomorrow. The event is to heighten awareness and strengthen participation in local anti-crime efforts that involve entire communities. It also promotes police-community partnerships, crime prevention, and neighborhood camaraderie. Some events community members have been working on for this year’s NNO include kids’ games, a teen scavenger hunt, a rock climbing wall, information for parents, displays from the fire department, ambulance, and police departments, and a movie in the park.
