Description: The city of Riverside Area Community Club is sponsoring a Demolition Derby on Saturday at the Southeast corner of Hall Park in Riverside beginning at 6pm. Derby cars can check in at 1. Adults get in for $7, 12 to 5 year olds for $3, and a pit pass is $20. Food & Beverages will be sold on site. Coolers will not be permitted inside the park.

Marion Avenue Baptist Church is hosting a senior citizen program. This month’s program features guest speaker, Curt Mayer, principal of the Washington Junior High School. The activity begins at 10 am Thursday, September 2 in the basement of the church. Everyone 55 years and older is invited to come.
