The Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts in Fairfield is having The International Folk Dance Ensemble of Brigham Young University present a program of traditional music and dance showcasing costumes and choreography from around the world. The showcase features dances from an array of cultures, including Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Their traditional approach to music includes the banjo, the fiddle, and other acoustical instruments. The performance is set for this Saturday at 7pm in Fairfield.
