The Highland High School Student Health and Wellness Committee is taking registrations for an upcoming fun run to raise money to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. The money raised from the 5k fun run/walk will go towards implementing a nutrition and fitness program in the district. The event is just over a month away but the time they’d like to have you registered is fast approaching. Those that register before August 31st will pay twenty dollars and are guaranteed a t-shirt. Those that register after the 31st will pay twenty-five dollars. There will also be a one mile fun run for kids. The cost to register for that is ten dollars before August 31st and fifteen after the 31st. Both will start at 8-am at the Riverside Elementary school on September 18th .
