The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks are getting ready to open the football season on Friday, and already they are dealing with a couple of injuries. The Golden Hawks have had some bad luck with injuries in recent years both in football and basketball. Head Coach Pete Cavanaugh says one injury this year is to one of their seniors Dylan Hochstetler who was going to play quarterback or at least share time with Jaemin Powell. Hochstetler injured his shoulder this summer playing seven on seven and will like be out for the season. Cavanaugh says Zach Oxley has also be battling a back problem. The Golden Hawks open the season hosting Washington on Friday.
