Description: There is a fundraiser for the Leslie Pirkl family of Iowa City. Leslie Pirkl has been recently diagnosed with brain cancer. Pirkl is going through radiation and chemotherapy treatment on an ongoing basis. The fundraiser will provide money to the family to help with the radiation and chemotherapy costs. Lunch will be provided and a silent auction will take place. The fundraiser is Saturday, October 16th at the Riverside VFW in Riverside beginning at noon.
