The Washington Demon volleyball team got to scrimmage a few teams last night in New London. Head Coach Jeff Spenner says they got to play five matches seeing teams like Holy Trinity, New London, Winfield-Mount Union and West Burlington. He says scores weren’t kept because they were scrimmages, but he says they went back and forth with their opponents. He says what they did best was moving the ball around and passing. The Demons will be going to a tournament in Wapello on Saturday September 4th to open the season.
