The Washington Demon summer volleyball camp begins today. This week the high school kids including freshmen will go from 8:15-12:15, and then 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will go from 12:45-3:45. Demon Head Coach Jeff Spenner says it’ll be back to the basics. The camp will finish up on Friday and then the Demons will head to a team camp at Mt. Mercy in Cedar Rapids Friday and Saturday. High school volleyball teams in Iowa can begin official practices next Monday. The Demon varsity squad will open their season at a Saturday tournament in Wapello.
