Columbus Junction will hold their bi-weekly city council meeting today at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. On the agenda for discussion is a recycling rate increase for Hewitt Sanitary Disposal and a solid waste rate increase for Rueckert Sanitation. They will also have the first reading of a proposed tax abatement amendment.  Resolutions will be voted on for Keep Columbus Beautiful and for the Regional Planning Grant for Chautauqua Park. The city committees and the mayor also plan to give their bi-weekly reports. The Columbus Junction city council meets this evening at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
