Washington County Secondary Roads Limited By State

For 40 years, Washington County has levied the maximum amount allowed by Iowa law to its Secondary Roads Department, but the county’s engineer says for two decades that amount hasn’t been allowed to increase.

Jason Marner

Celebration of life services for 22 year old Jason Marner of Harrisonburg, Virginia, formally of Brighton, will beat  6pm Wednesday at Iowa Mennonite School.  Burial will be prior to the service at 4:30pm at the Lower Deer Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1 to 6pm on Tuesday at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with the family present from 6 to 8, and again Wednesday from noon to 4pm at Iowa Mennonite School with family present from 2 to 4.  Memorials have been designated to Iowa Mennonite School and Crook Creek Christian Camp.
