Highland was on the road playin IMS in softball last night, and the Huskies lead all the way. Highland scored runs in the third and fourth to get up 4-0. They’d score three more in the sixth to go up 7-0. IMS scored a run in the bottom of the sixth and bottom of the seventh but Highland wins 9-2. For the Huskies, Brittany Gerot had two hits and two rbi’s, Mariah Freel went 2-3 with a double, Anna Sweeting had two hits and an rbi. Kayla Schneider had a double. For IMS, Mo Brenneman went 2-4 and scored a run. Laura Hochstetler had an rbi. With the win Highland improves to 19-9 on the season and 14-2 in the conference.
