A former Demon basketball player will take the floor tonight in the Prime Time League championship game. The league is a summer basketball league primarily for college or college bound players. Washington’s Isaac Gardner plays on Vinton Merchants/Hawkeye Title and Settlement and they will play L.L. Pelling/Goodfellow Printing for the title tonight. Gardner is second in the league 3-pointer FG Percentage. He’s averaging 12 ppg and six rebounds a game. He’s headed to Truman State to play. The championship game will be at 6-pm at North Liberty.
