Saturday, July 10th the Washington Golf and Country Club will host the 4th annual Curt Jensen Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament. Event organizer Norm Bruty says the 4 person best shot tournament was established to honor Washington teacher and coach Curt Jensen, known as “Mr. J” to his students. Proceeds from the tournament will create a $1,000 scholarship for a Washington High School senior. The cost of the golf tournament is $25 for country club members and $45 for non-members.
