An accident involving an Ainsworth man occurred yesterday at approximately 3:40 pm on Highway 34 and Quincy Avenue south of New London. The Iowa State Patrol reports Thomas Weber of Mount Pleasant was driving northbound on Quincy Avenue when he failed to yield and collided with a vehicle driven westbound on Highway 34 by William Pence of Ainsworth.  Henry County Ambulance transported Pence and another man to the Henry County Hospital, and Weber was transported there by a private vehicle.  Charges are pending.
