The Washington Post Office, Library, City Hall, Mini Bus Services, and County offices will be closed on Monday, July 5^th in observance of the Independence Day holiday. As our nation’s birthday falls on a Sunday this year, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management says the following Monday is treated as a holiday for most federal employees.  In Iowa, state, county, and city governments follow similar policies for weekend holidays.  Monday the Conservation Center at Marr Park, west of Ainsworth, will also be closed.
