4^th of July fireworks are Saturday in Kalona and Sunday in Washington, Crawfordsville, and Wellman. Washington County Sheriff Jerry Dunbar wants everyone to stay safe while celebrating our nation’s independence, and reminds Washington County residents that out of state fireworks can be dangerous.  Sheriff Dunbar says one or two hand injuries are caused each year by fireworks in Washington County.
