Marie Snyder

Celebration of Life services for 90 year old Marie Snyder of Atrium Village, formerly of Kalona is Saturday (7/3) morning at 10:30 at the Kalona United Methodist Church.  Visitation is Friday (7/2) evening from 4 to 7 at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona.  Burial is in the Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona.  A general memorial fund has been established.

Jacob B. “Jake” Shafer

Funeral services for 86 year old Jacob B. “Jake” Shafer of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of Fairfield, are Saturday at 10:30 am at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant.  Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. Visitation is from Noon to 8 PM on Friday at the Kimzey Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with the family present from 5 to 7pm.

Demons and Golden Hawks meet in Washington
