The Washington County Conservation Board is hosting a youth fishing derby next month. In addition to the contest, young anglers will also learn about Iowa fish, rules, regulations and tackle. There will also be a light fish fry and door prizes. There is a limited number of worms and poles available for participants. Donations will be accepted to offset the cost of lunch. The youth fishing derby is June 5th. Check in is from 8:30 to 9:00 am. For more information contact the Washington County Conservation Board.
