A WACO junior has been selected to go to Hawkeye Boys State from Schantz-Mitchell Post #593 in Crawfordsville. Austin Coakley will attend Boys State June sixth through the 11th at Camp Dodge in Johnston. Coakley is active in student council, a class officer, and played football, and basketball. He was a state qualifier in track and participated in quiz bowl. He is the son of Jennifer Miller of Crawfordsville and Aaron Coakley of Wayland. He plans on pursing a degree in Engineering, and then working on designing weaponry for the military.
