The Kalona Public Library has a number of activities and events planned for this summer. A kickoff to their summer reading programs is scheduled for June 7th in the Kalona Park. It runs from 2-3 PM and includes snacks, face painting and a water balloon toss. From 3:30 to 4:30 that day the teen advisory board is hosting a battle of the bands fundraiser for the Kalona Food Pantry. The programs are free of charge. To find out more contact the library.
