A local high-school student is being honored for his service in a youth led tobacco prevention program. Highland Senior Aaron Swailes is also a non voting member of the State Commission for the Iowa Department of Public Health. He’s being presented with an engraved bronze medallion to signify his selection as a distinguished finalist in this year’s Prudential Spirit of Community Program. He’ll receive it tomorrow night during Highland’s awards night.
