The Ak-Sar-Ben 4-H Livestock Exposition in Omaha is coming up, and the Washington County Extension is reminding youth interested in exhibiting swine or feeder calves, that they must have DNA samples collected by June 1st. The DNA samples have to be collected by an Extension staff member. Nominating through the Iowa State Fair process is not accepted for Ak-Sar-Ben.
