Anhydrous Tank Rupture Prompts Evacuations

Several homes were evacuated and a portion of G36 was closed after an anhydrous tank rupture northeast of Washington last night. The Washington County Communications center says emergency crews were called to 2565 220th street shortly after 8:00 PM. They say there were reports of a large cloud covering the roadway. Some people reported their eyes were burning and they were having difficulty breathing. The cloud lifted and the roadway has opened to thru traffic.
