WHS Hoping for Grant to Purchase iPads

Washington High School students could soon be reading textbooks on Apple iPads. Principle Shane Ehresman says they’ve applied for grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation to purchase 85 of the devices for a digital textbook pilot program in the social studies department. Ehresman says it would cut down on paper consumption and allow students download materials to flash drives or other digital devices that could then be worked on at a home computer.
