Washington County Supervisors this week will get a clearer picture of what the Iowa Department of Human Services reorganization will mean locally. The DHS switching 23 offices, including Washington’s, to part time status. The state agency is housed by the county, in the Orchard Hill Complex. Supervisors will also hear quarterly reports from General Assistance, Veteran’s Affairs, the Sheriff’s Office and Auditor. The meeting starts at 9:30 Tuesday morning in the Washington County Courthouse.
