Alliant Energy has awarded the Henry County Health Center with a $724 Custom Rebate incentive check for its energy efficient lighting project at The Parkview Home Care Center in Wayland. The Parkview Home used Alliant Energy’s Custom Rebate program to convert all of its incandescent lights to energy-saving compact fluorescent lights. The new lighting is expected help to decrease energy consumption, thus lowering the center’s energy bill. The Parkview Home’s new lighting will also avoid more than 32 thousand pounds of CO2 emissions each year.
