Members of the Washington community are invited to meet the school district’s new Superintendent today. Dr. Mike Jorgensen comes to Washington from the Southeast-Webster Grand School District in north central Iowa, where he’s been for the past 13 years. Jorgensen has also served as an education consultant at the Arrowhead Area Education Association in Fort Dodge. His contract in Washington begins in July He’ll be available from 3:30 to 6:30 PM today at the Lincoln Elementary Gym.
