Mid-Prairie has again been ranked among the top 50 schools in Iowa. The rating based on the Advanced Placement Index puts Mid-Prairie at number six in the state. The schools ranked in front of them were all 4A, making Mid-Prairie the top 2A. This is the fourth year the school has been in the top ten. High School Principal Gerry Beeler says the ranking is a testament to how hard students and staff work. Mid-Prairie offers seven Advanced Placement tests.
