The last chance for farmers to attend private pesticide applicator training locally is this month. Pre-registration is not required, but farmers are encouraged to contact the Washington County Extension Office. Applicators who wish to recertify through training rather than by exam must attend such a course each year. The session is April 15 at the extension office. Applicators can opt to take a test to recertify. They’re offered the second Friday of each month on a first come first serve basis.
