More than 57,000 Iowa businesses are expected to receive information in the mail about new tax credits they’re eligible for through the health care reform legislation. The IRS is mailing postcards this week explaining the new tax credits that are designed to encourage and assist small businesses to offer insurance coverage for the first time, or strengthen existing coverage choices. The credit can be claimed on the 2010 income tax return.
