The Girls State Basketball Tournament wrapped up on Saturday crowning the 3A and 4A champions. This year’s champions were in 1A Exira who won on a buzzer beater, 2A Mount Vernon, in 3A, Sioux City Bishop Heelan ran over Waukon 73-54, and in 4A Linn-Mar and Des Moines East played a low scoring close game with Linn-Mar winning 38-35.
