The Washington County Sheriff says area police canine programs do a good job of working together. Jerry Dunbar says larger settings like schools require more than one dog to do the job. Dunbar says their canine unit was recently utilized at Columbus Community Schools. He says they received a thank you letter and a $25 donation from the school district.
