Schmitz, Marek Confident Legislature will Adjourn on Time

Two southeast Iowa state lawmakers say they’re confident the legislature will be able to end this year’s session on time. Representative Larry Marek and Senator Becky Schmitz both say the session has gone relatively smooth. The general assembly shortened its session by 20 days this year in an attempt to save money.
