Washington County residents have until the end of the month to pay real-estate and mobile home taxes. Payments can be made in person or mailed to the Washington County Treasurer’s Office. They can also be paid online at Iowa-Treasurers-Dot-Org. Payments that are mailed in must be postmarked by March 31 to avoid a penalty. Taxes that remain unpaid on June 21, will be offered at the annual tax sale. For more information contact the Washington County Treasurer’s Office.
